Dallas-based Corner Bakery was sold to a Philadelphia-based restaurant company that recently bought Boston Market. Pandya Restaurant Growth Brands paid an undisclosed amount for the 175-restaurant chain of an Atlanta-based private equity firm, Roark Capital Partners. Pandya Restaurant Growth Brands LLC has acquired Corner Bakery from the subsidiaries of Roark Capital Partners. The terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.
Owned by the Rohan Group of Companies, Pandya operates several brands, including Boston Market, which it bought in April. Corner Bakery CEO Frank Paci said in the press release that Pandya will provide resources to help Corner Bakery continue operating during the current business climate.
